Joining a PC to the Domain

  1. In a virtual machine setup, you want to set the DNS server of your Windows PC to the IP address of the Windows Server

  2. You can do this through control panel under > Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections > change adapter settings

  3. Select the NIC > Right Click > Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 > Properties

  1. Now to add the PC to the domain:

  2. You can either search for: Access work or school or;

  1. Select Join this device to a local Active Directory domain

  2. Enter the domain name: z3tssu.com

  3. Enter the credentials of the domain admin when prompted

  4. Restart the PC, and you should now have been added to the domain
