Quick Install Method

1. Go to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/download-windows-server-2022

2. Fill in the form and download the Microsoft Server 2022 ISO

3. Download either Virtualbox or VMware

4. Install the ISO on either Virtualbox or VMware

5. Choose the "Desktop Experience" once the setup is in process

Change Server Name

1. Open Windows Explorer

2. Right click on "This PC"

3. Click on Properties

1. Click on Change Settings

1. Click on Change Button

2. Enter the new server name and press OK

Make the Windows Server the Domain Controller and Install Active Directory

1. Open Server Manager

2. Click on Manage > Add Roles and Features

1. Click Next through all settings until you reach Server Roles

2. Select Active Directory Domain Services

1. Click next through everything until you reach the installation part and click install

1. Once the install is done, click on "Promote this Server to a Domain Controller"

1. Click New Forest and provide a domain name for this Domain Controller

2. The next step will be to provide a password

3. Press next until the installation phase and click on install

4. The Server will restart and after that the Server will have become the domain controller and will have Active Directory Installed
