Creating a Nessus Policy
We will choose Advanced Scan to create a fully customized scan with no pre-configured recommendations built-in
After choosing the Scan Type, enter a name for the new policy
Configure settings, add credentials, and specify compliance standards for the scan.
Option to enable or disable entire plugins
After customizing the scan, click
Save.The new policy appears in the policies list.
New scans wil be in the
User Definedtab underScan Templatesfor custom policies.
